The directory supports discovery. It is intentionally separated from verification, comparison, and the final hiring decision.
Pool Builders
Location pages display Pool Builders supplied by the shared Pool Builders Hub service. The site does not convert inclusion into a rating, endorsement, credential, or availability claim.
Location matching
Pool Builders are grouped by state and city using the supplied location fields. Users must confirm the actual service area directly with each business.
Locality research
Local context uses official U.S. Census place and county-subdivision files, followed by U.S. Geological Survey GNIS populated-place records where a directory label is not a Census place. Ambiguous matches are withheld instead of guessed.
State authority research
Each state page points to the responsible official licensing, registration, consumer-protection, or local-government source. The page states when regulation is local or trade-specific rather than implying that every Pool Builder holds one statewide license.
Indexation threshold
State and city pages must meet internal coverage thresholds before indexation. Thinner pages remain followable for navigation but are excluded from the XML sitemap.
Displayed facts
Business name, location, phone, website, and category labels are discovery fields. Time-sensitive claims and official status must be independently checked.
Ordering
Pool Builder order is not a quality ranking. Users should apply the same verification and proposal process to every candidate they consider.
